HOLE #18 You are almost home, and it looks like a real simple hole with a good chance for birdie, but you still have work to do. First things first…it is a must to hit the fairway here, and slightly left of center is ideal. Looks like a simple, short iron over water remaining... but not so fast, my friend. This green is large, with three distinct levels…and to have a makeable putt, you must be on the proper level. If the pin is back right, be sure to hit plenty of club because the steep slope that runs down to the lake is quite unforgiving. The eighteenth green will produce countless three putts, but hopefully none of them will be yours.
